The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of the company’s assigned construction projects. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. The Project Manager collaborates with various teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans outlining the tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project team meetings to review progress and address issues.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
• Monitor project quality and ensure that deliverables meet the required standards.
• Lead, provide guidance and motivate project team members.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Manage project’s contract document administration. 
• Responsible for overseeing the project complies and adhere to project’s contract specifications.
• Consult EHS Manager to receive feedback regarding aspects that need to be implemented about EHS standards and compliance (Federal/OSHA) in our projects.

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineer
• Professional Engineer License preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of Public Projects Contract Administration Preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of Heavy Construction, Infrastructure, Utilities, Building Codes and Regulations.
• Experience in Construction Supervision (5-10 years).

Construction managers play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from the planning phase to completion. Their duties include upholding the use of quality materials and procedures, adhering to budgets to complete tasks and reviewing contracts to make sure that current practices align with the owner’s expectations.

Construction managers need a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project management expertise to successfully oversee construction projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor expenses, approve payments, and negotiate contracts to optimize project costs.
• Supervise and manage construction teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other personnel.
• Communicate proactively to ensure that each team member understands their role and responsibilities in the project.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.
• Conduct inspections to maintain quality standards, safety and compliance with building codes and regulations (Federal/OSHA).
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders through meetings and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the construction process.
• Administer the contract and ensure the project is moving forward towards the owner’s desired result.
• Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including plans, contracts, change orders, and correspondence required by clients and regulatory agencies.
• Identify challenges and obstacles during construction and work with the team to find effective solutions.
• Keep daily employee logs and monitor the conduct of each one of them.
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the project.
• Consult EHS Manager to receive feedback regarding aspects that need to be implemented about EHS standards and compliance (Federal/OSHA) in our projects.
• Notify EHS Manager about any incident related to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety).

Obrero de labor será responsable de realizar diferentes tareas requieren los proyectos y saber utilizar el equipo esencial. El trabajo de un obrero es una labor fundamental para la construcción y mantenimiento de edificios, carreteras y otros proyectos. Se requiere tener fuerza física, resistencia y ser diestro en trabajos manuales. También es importante ser bueno en la colaboración, trabajo en equipo, seguir instrucciones y las reglas de seguridad.

Deberes y Responsabilidades

• Manipular o transportar materiales, equipos y herramientas necesarias para la construcción.
• Descarga y transporte de materiales en sitios de construcción.
• Recoger escombros, basura y otros desechos para mantener la zona limpia y segura.
• Ayudar en la construcción de estructuras: tales como vigas, columnas, andamios, rampas, etc…
• Apoyar en otras tareas, según sea requerido por supervisor, dentro de la obra/proyecto.
• Seguir instrucciones de supervisores para realizar labores manuales o utilizando equipo en el trabajo.
• Colocar señales de advertencia como letreros, drones o rótulos para proteger al personal laborando y advertir a los conductores sobre zona
  de construcción.
• Ayudar a colocar y transferir estructuras temporales, como andamios y plataformas de trabajo.
• Notificar a los supervisores sobre equipos defectuosos o condiciones inseguras para garantizar el bienestar y seguridad de todos.
• Cumplir con las normas de seguridad y utilizar el equipo de protección personal en todo momento (casco, guantes, botas, chaleco, etc..)
• Jornada laboral de 40 horas semanales pudiendo requerir de tiempo extra, lunes a viernes de 6:30am-3:00pm o según el proyecto requiera.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar los fines de semana de ser requerido.

• Puntual y responsable de notificar inmediatamente en caso de tener que ausentarse.

• Respetuoso
• Capaz de levantar cargas manuales de hasta un máximo de 50 lbs.
• Disposición/capacidad para trabajar al aire libre de pie durante periodos largos, con cualquier tipo de clima aceptable, a menos que se
  considere inseguro.
