This project for the Puerto Rico Water and Sewer Authority was and underground utility and excavation works. It consisted of the completion of the Las Croabas sanitary system from Km 5.4 to Km 5.9 on the PR-987, known as Fajardo Sardine. It consists of the installation of nine (9) sanitary manholes which will be connected to a DR-14 12″ diameter pipe which will be installed for a total of 450 linear meters at a depth of 11 feet to 16 feet. In a parallel direction at a depth of four feet, the installation of a 6″ SDR-35 pipe will be carried out for a length of 450 linear meters, which will collect wastewater. The entire project was completed in 2022 at a cost of $2,885,000.00. The existing sanitary system of Las Croabas will be cleaned with a “Flush” system and inspected with a camera in order to determine failures in the system and to be able to carry out the necessary repairs.
